About the title
Returning to Earth, the crew of the Enterprise discovers that the workings and principles of their organization have been undermined from within. The fleet is gripped by inexplicable terror and remains paralyzed as the world sinks ever deeper into the abyss. Captain Kirk takes command of the operation to capture the villain responsible for this chaos, a man capable of annihilating all of humanity. In a tangled game of life and death, love and friendship will be sacrificed for the only thing Kirk has left — his crew.
