About the title
Halfway through its five-year mission, the Enterprise comes under devastating attack from an unknown alien race. Critically damaged, the starship is forced to crash-land on an uncharted planet, where its crew becomes entangled in a conflict with a ruthless new enemy who has every reason to hate anyone belonging to the Federation.
