About the title
Peter is a modest, talented high school student finishing school. He seems so awkward and clumsy that it's hardly scary to pick on him. But one day, during a school field trip to a local university, Peter is bitten by a spider — one of the genetically modified super-spiders used in an experiment. He barely makes it home before collapsing onto his bed, unconscious. When he wakes up, he feels unusually energized, and, putting on his glasses out of habit, discovers he can't see anything... but without them, he sees magnificently! And his muscles! He gazes with delight at the biceps and abs now adorning his torso in the mirror. And these weren't the only changes he discovered in himself after the bite...
