About the title
A simple kid gets bitten by a radioactive spider. Shortly after the bite, the spider dies, and the boy gains the ability to run on ceilings, sling sticky webs at people and walls, and starts wearing a stylish bodysuit while showing off his newfound love for insects in every way. A little later, our hero is found by Iron Man, who takes his alternative talents under his wing. Eager to prove himself worthy of joining the Avengers, the newly minted crusader for justice gets into an unequal fight with a gang of scrap-metal hunters left over from the alien invasion of New York. Matters are complicated by the fact that the crooks have not only learned to craft atomic accelerators out of alien-tech samples and children's building sets, but are also prepared to defend their little business in the most decisive way.
