About the series
The series takes place roughly 70 years after the battle between Avatar Aang and the Fire Lord. Korra, having already mastered waterbending, earthbending, and firebending, must learn the last element — airbending. The only one who can help her with this is Tenzin, the son of Aang and Katara. Korra lives in "Republic City", a place where people of every nation live together. The heroes of the animated series must fight crime and a brewing rebellion against benders.
