About the title
The events of the third and final installment of 'The Godfather' unfold twenty years after the tragic events that claimed many lives in the war for the criminal empire. Michael Corleone has ascended to the throne of godfather, becoming the undisputed head of the entire Italian Mafia. Over time he has softened and decided to legitimize his business, straying from the strict code that once kept all the Sicilian clans in line. Young and brazen gangsters decide to take advantage of this weakness, forcing him to recall his old methods of dealing with opponents - methods that go beyond the law, but which, as practice shows, are still effective to this day.
