About the title
Space "sea wolf" and veteran of the Galactic Civil War, Malcolm "Mal" Reynolds, is now just the captain of a transport ship. When they take on board passengers — a young doctor and his strange sister with telepathic abilities — neither he nor his crew suspect what kind of trouble they're getting into. Fleeing from several powerful enemies at once — both the military forces of the totalitarian Universal Alliance and the terrifying cannibalistic Reavers — the ship's crew has no idea what threat is hiding aboard the "Serenity."
