About the series
Captain Malcolm Reynolds is a battle-hardened veteran of a galactic civil war, having fought on the wrong (losing) side; he now earns a living through petty crime and hauls cargo on his ship "Serenity." He leads a small, motley crew that closely resembles an ordinary family — its members are forever bickering and undisciplined, but they will never betray their captain and will follow him to the ends of the earth.
