About the title
Special Agent Strahm is dead. Detective Hoffman continues to lead the Jigsaw investigation, and the FBI manages to pick up his trail. But Jigsaw himself is confident that the surveillance on him has stopped, meaning nothing can prevent him from carrying out his bloody plans. He decides to punish a pair of small-time con artists, confronting them with an impossible choice: amputate all their own limbs, or endure the pain of screws boring into their skulls.
