About the title
The events of the film take place in our time. The main character is a young man named Ivan (Viktor Khorinyak), leading an entirely ordinary life as an office worker. One day Ivan finds himself in a mysterious world called Belogorye, home to all the heroes of Russian folk tales, both good and evil. There, the young hero must meet many fascinating inhabitants of this fairy-tale world, meet Dobrynya Nikitich (Yevgeny Dyatlov), and stand against the main villain — Koschei the Deathless (Konstantin Lavronenko).
