About the title
Special agent Ethan Hunt of the "Mission: Impossible" unit and his colleagues are unjustly accused of involvement in the bombing of the Kremlin. The President initiates the "Ghost Protocol," as a result of which the special unit is disbanded, leaving Ethan without any support. He intends to clear his good name and prevent a new attack, but he'll have to do it together with a team of colleagues whose true motives he doesn't fully know.
