About the title
Having lost everything, Paul Atreides seeks the support of Arrakis's native people - the Fremen. He must learn their ways and discover how to survive on the desert planet, home to giant sandworms and the raw material known as "spice." Only this way can he end the Harkonnens' rule and transform Dune. But in his visions Paul sees only a terrifying future: after the victory over the Great House of Baron Vladimir, a Holy War will follow in the name of Atreides himself, one that will engulf the entire universe.
