About the title
The story takes place during the early days of Batman's fight against crime. The plot is based on the story of a mysterious killer nicknamed "Holiday," who murders people only on holidays. With the help of District Attorney Harvey Dent and Captain James Gordon, Batman tries to figure out who Holiday really is, until the villain announces a new victim, sparking a war between Gotham's two most powerful families - the Maronis and the Falcones.
