About the title
A dollmaker, whose only daughter tragically died 20 years ago, and his wife decide to open the doors of their home to a nun and several girls from a closed orphanage. But the dollmaker's possessed creation, Annabelle, watches the children closely, and soon engulfs their refuge in a storm of horror and fear.
