About the title
Merel, a single midwife, decides to have a baby with a surrogate father. When the long-awaited pregnancy finally happens, she discovers that, at the same time, her 60-year-old father's young wife and her 23-year-old niece Eva are also expecting. Merel finds herself dealing not only with morning sickness but also with her relatives' problems, as none of them turns out to be ready for the difficulties that come with having children.
