About the title
Russia, 1917. In the Khabarovsk region, near the Umalta River, an incredibly bold robbery takes place: criminals, hiding their faces behind shaman masks, attack a caravan carrying 40 poods of pure gold. For the owner of the valuable cargo, industrialist Bulygin, it means the collapse of his entire business, and he has no choice but to go to Khabarovsk to personally find the robbers and recover the stolen gold. He assembles a team of hardened cutthroats, ready to do anything for a good payday. It will be a fight to the death, since "filthy lucre" makes many people lose their heads. But only one will get the gold.
