About the title
"Zokki" is an adaptation of the early work of renowned manga author Hiroyuki Ohashi. The film consists of five stories based on seven original works by the manga artist. Three of them were directed by Naoto Takenaka, and one each by Takayuki Yamada and Takumi Saito. But there is also another hidden story, whose existence viewers who haven't read the manga can only learn about from the closing credits — and all three directors are credited as its authors.
