About the series
Vera is a teacher and a strict mother, used to controlling every aspect of her family's life. One day her son Matvei brings home a girl named Yana, but she behaves provocatively. Vera throws Yana out, which becomes the first serious crack in the family's relationship. Matvei, hopelessly in love with Yana, takes her side and falls out with his mother.
