About the title
Kanat still lives in an outbuilding at his mother-in-law's, which bothers him greatly. Around this time, his classmate Darkhan offers him a chance to move to a village in the north under the "Eңbek, көші-қon" program. Kanat happily accepts, and he and Aizhamal move there. Yerom and Mansar follow them north soon after.
