About the title
The year is 2042, and Earth is invaded by alien visitors who have set their sights on our fresh water. Armored aliens, impervious to conventional weapons, quickly wipe out civilization, and the remnants of humanity eke out a miserable existence, hiding in ruins and burrows. Cheng Lin is a former soldier who fled the battlefield during one of the first clashes with the aliens and is now slowly making his way south, to his family. But Cheng Lin's help is needed by a squad of soldiers led by Gao Ren, who have intercepted a mysterious signal from the legendary General Mackey and are heading toward its source. Cheng Lin is sure it's suicide, but Gao Ren and his men prove very persuasive. As they say, if you can't do it, we'll teach you; if you won't, we'll make you.
