About the series
A frontline concert brigade of performers has been entertaining soldiers for years. Its ranks were recently joined by Shurochka, an actress from a rear-area theater. Her very first performance for the troops brings her success, and not only with the audience: Colonel Gromov falls in love with her at first sight. His attention inspires Shurochka, but soon she meets a young intelligence officer, Lieutenant Koltsov. The girl must make a difficult choice between two war heroes — the dashing Cossack Gromov and the Leningrad poet Koltsov.
