About the title
Eva is an ambitious young lawyer, a happy wife and mother. She dreams of landing a junior associate position at the firm of Victoria Komissarova, the city's most famous attorney. Her wish comes true, but soon Victoria is murdered, and Eva's husband — the well-known psychiatrist Dmitry Veresaev — is accused of the killing. The evidence against him seems irrefutable.
