About the title
While skiing down a mountain, schoolgirl Li Yang's father fell into a ravine and suffered a severe head injury. A month into his coma, on the doctors' insistence, his wife makes the hardest decision of her life and takes her husband off life support. But their daughter disagrees and blames her mother for her father's death. The atmosphere grows heavier by the day — Li Yang refuses to communicate and withdraws into herself, and the family restaurant is on the verge of ruin — but unexpectedly a Labrador puppy appears in their lives. Besides having a cheerful disposition, the puppy resembles the late father in his habits. He also adores soda, and even hints to the women at the secret ingredient of the signature dish that made their restaurant famous.
