About the title
After Superman's death, the world is going through hard times: tension grips society, and the rich and powerful, who wield influence and force, get away with any outrage. Lois Lane, Superman's wife, no longer pursues high-profile exposés of criminals or writes scathing reports. Meanwhile, the supervillain Steppenwolf, backed by flying Parademons, plans to turn Earth into a living hell. Only Batman and his allies can stand against him. Inspired by Superman's tragic self-sacrifice, Bruce Wayne, together with Wonder Woman, Aquaman, the speedster Flash, and the computer genius Cyborg, rise up against Steppenwolf and his minions.
