About the series
An ordinary morning for the Reyes family. His wife and daughter leisurely eat breakfast and plan their day while unsettling news plays on TV. The infected catch Jerry and his family off guard while they're stuck in traffic, and the family narrowly manages to escape in a cargo van. Amid the chaos, the protagonist notices that bitten people turn into zombies in just 11 seconds. He and his family manage to get out of the city by helicopter, sent by Jerry's old friend Thierry Umutoni. They are taken to a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier. Faced with the threat of his family being sent ashore to a refugee camp, Jerry agrees to join a newly formed team investigating the cause of the epidemic.
