About the title
In a world devastated by nuclear war, 16-year-old Ann miraculously survives. She meets an adult scientist named Loomis, who has already lost hope of finding his family. As Ann matures, feelings develop between her and Loomis. The situation becomes complicated when a third survivor appears — a young man named Caleb. A struggle begins for the last woman on Earth.
