About the title
This tightly-plotted crime thriller is set in 1933, during the Japanese colonization of Korea. The film tells the story of five characters suspected of being the mysterious "Phantom," an elusive spy for the anti-Japanese resistance. Trapped in a secluded, abandoned hotel where they've been taken for interrogation, the five must use all their wits to escape, all while suspecting and doubting one another. To win their freedom, they must prove their innocence to the Japanese - or reveal who the real phantom is.
