About the series
For unknown reasons, almost every carrier of the Y chromosome on the planet dies, except for a guy named Yorick and his pet male capuchin monkey. Society descends into chaos, and the surviving women try to adapt to living in a new world. Yorick heads to his mother, a senator, in Washington, and then sets out to find his girlfriend Beth, who was in Australia when the catastrophe began.
