About the title
Young Willy Wonka arrives in an unnamed town that resembles Rome, or London, or somewhere else entirely. He dreams of opening his own chocolate shop — not just any shop, but the finest in the world. However, the hero quickly gets burned upon encountering harsh reality: on his way to fulfilling his dream, he is constantly hindered by a sinister chocolate cartel, corrupt police and clergy, cunning swindlers, and even laundry slavery. Yet Wonka also meets good people along the way — by helping one another, each of them gets a chance to fulfill their own dream. The story is based on the popular children's novel written by Roald Dahl in 1964.
