About the title
The near future. Seven-year-old Rebecca and Thomas live in a small coastal town and have been friends since childhood. After finishing school, seventeen-year-old Rebecca returns to her hometown and begins a passionate romance with a now grown-up Thomas. A few months later, Thomas dies in an absurd car accident. The devastated Rebecca cannot find peace until a mad idea occurs to her.
