About the series
In the 1970s, Indian-born Somen Banerjee worked in an American supermarket, and one day, after seeing an inspiring clip on television, decided he deserved more. He came up with an idea revolutionary for its time: opening the first strip club in the US for women. Banerjee assembled a troupe, hired choreographer Nick De Noia, and developed a style still iconic today — collars and bow ties worn on bare skin. The venture's incredible success was marred only by the fact that the charismatic Nick De Noia turned from ally into rival. Banerjee then decides to get rid of his business partner and devises a new plan.
