About the title
Al Yankovic gained popularity thanks to his delightful parodies of the most popular English-language hits of the 1980s. The film's story begins with his early childhood. The hero took a rather unusual path to fame. Performing under the pseudonym "Weird Al," he gradually won over an ever-growing number of fans, which eventually led to real stardom. However, fame played a cruel trick on him. Excessive alcohol use, drug addiction, and endless love affairs led him to push away everyone who was dear to him. Will the hero be able to draw the right conclusions and cope with worldwide fame?..
