High schooler Tyler, from a well-off African-American family living in South Florida, cares about only two things in life: sports and his girlfriend Alexis. Considered a promising wrestler, he devotes most of his time to training. But Tyler's world soon starts to fall apart — his doctor insists on urgent shoulder surgery, after which he'll have to forget about sports for a long time, and Alexis finds out she's pregnant.
