About the series
Barbados, 19th century. Young slave George Washington Black (Ernest Kingsley Jr.) escapes from a sugar plantation, and not just anywhere, but into the sky. His accomplice is the eccentric inventor Christopher "Titch" Wilde (Tom Ellis), who also happens to be the master's brother and has built a flying machine. The duo is in for an odyssey on the edge between steampunk and harsh reality.
