About the title
Deep in dense forests lies the ancient city of Lloris, once founded by elves long ago. But humans drove them out of the city, and now Lloris is ruled by a despotic sheriff who profits off its residents. He constantly raises taxes, condemning people to poverty and hunger, depriving them of shelter and livelihood. Those who try to protest are exiled and tortured. An uprising is brewing in the city, and the desperate residents decide to seek help from the reclusive elves, believing in their magical powers. The elves don't trust the humans they haven't spoken to in two hundred years, and want to preserve their fragile peace.
