About the title
McNairy County Sheriff Buford Pusser served three terms in office. He fought crime, but after the murder of his beloved wife he felt completely helpless. Now his place is taken by U.S. special forces soldier Chris Vaughn. He returns home hoping to build a small family business, but much has changed during his absence.
