About the title
Ten prisoners, sentenced to lifelong exile from planet XT-59, set off on a dangerous journey through the Sargasso Swamp. The group immediately splits into two: Erwin and Christy go in search of the Happy Islands, while Just leads the rest toward the Rotten Shoal. However, for a long time their routes nearly coincide. On the very first evening, Erwin realizes that he is meant to be killed — in his past life he held too high a position, and now he is dangerous to those who have come to power. Choosing Christy as his companion, he immediately tries to distance himself from the rest of the group in order to protect himself. On the way to the Happy Islands, the heroes overcome many obstacles. The price for this is freedom and happiness.
