About the title
The 1960s, at the height of the Cold War. The two superpowers, the USSR and the USA, are battling for supremacy in the space race. While the USSR is in the lead, next up is a human spacewalk. Two weeks before launch, the test spacecraft explodes. There's no time to determine the causes. Veteran military pilot Pavel Belyayev and his partner Alexei Leonov - untested, hot-headed, and dreaming of glory - are the two men ready to step into the unknown. But no one could have anticipated everything they would face during the flight. In this mission, everything that could go wrong, did.
