About the title
War burst suddenly into the peaceful lives of three friends, changing their fates forever. Each went to the front, leaving behind at home what was most precious to them, so they'd have something to fight for. Music helps them survive the fiery hell of battle against fascism. Taking their instruments with them, the young men play — not only to lift the spirits of their fellow soldiers, but also to compose the long-awaited leitmotif of Victory.
