About the title
Czechoslovakia during the Prague Spring. Tomáš and Pavel are two brothers left without parents. Young Pavel goes to school, while his older brother is forced to work. He happens to get a job as a technician at a radio station, where he meets a group of independent journalists who, in this difficult time, try to bring honest news to the people, defying censorship and persecution by the state security service, the StB. Tomáš is forced to sign a cooperation agreement — it's the only way he can save his brother, who is involved in illegal activity with a group of classmates.
