About the series
A 50-year-old English literature professor becomes infatuated with an enigmatic young colleague. The infatuation gradually turns into an obsession, leading to complicated situations and unforeseen consequences. The plot is based on the novel of the same name by Julia May Jonas, who also wrote the screenplay for the series.
