About the series
Ireland, 1985. The country is gripped by a video boom. Two Dublin teenagers, Billy and Con, steal money from the school fund to assemble a complete collection of horror films on VHS tapes. They plan to sell it for a high price, but they're missing the last film, "The Nightmare Maker," which can only be found in England. Billy suggests Con go get the tape with him, but the boys don't have money for tickets. Con's sister Zoe is willing to help them with money if they take her along and share the profits from selling the collection. The teenagers set off, but soon their life turns into a real nightmare, and they become suspects in a murder.
