About the title
Minnesota, 1983. Joel, a young film critic working for a horror magazine, decides to spy on the boyfriend of his roommate — a woman with whom he shares a house and whom he loves unrequitedly. As a result, the guy gets drunk and falls asleep in the storeroom of a bar, and when he comes to, he accidentally finds himself at a group therapy session for the heroes of his favorite horror films — serial killers.
