About the series
Mikhail Romanov is a judge at a district court in a coastal city. Romanov is known for his principles and integrity: for him, law and justice come above all else. One day he learns that his son Anton is in trouble. Without permission, Anton took the car and hit a motorcyclist, then fled the scene. Romanov decides without hesitation to take his son to the police: he must confess and face punishment. But it soon turns out that the motorcyclist who was hit is Daniil Razin, the son of one of the city's most dangerous crime bosses — a man Romanov himself sent to prison a year earlier. Romanov realizes that confessing to the accident would mean condemning Anton to certain death. Will the judge be able to save his son, and what sacrifices is he willing to make for it?
