About the title
Geologist Vika and geophysicist Andrei are former lovers whose emotional wounds from their breakup are still fresh. They are called to the site of a meteorite crash in a remote forest, and their feelings flare up again. But the two cannot be together — a deep sense of guilt keeps them from being happy. They believe that their affair led to the death of Vika's husband, while Andrei's wife left home with their young child. Fate gives the pair another chance — they fall into a temporal anomaly and begin a journey through the past, reliving all the significant events of their lives in an attempt to fix their mistakes. In this new reality, Vika and Andrei try to do the "right" thing, but each time it turns out not to be enough to change fate. Step by step, Vika and Andrei truly open up to one another and discover that theirs were not the only secrets.
