About the title
According to the Old Testament, Noah's Ark ran aground on one of the mountains of the land of Ararat, giving rise to a completely new, mighty civilization. Some historians agree that this ancient state was precisely Urartu, which arose from the unification of vast tribes in the territory of the Armenian Highlands in the first quarter of the 1st millennium BC. The documentary is dedicated to the rise and fall of the mysterious kingdom of the ancient world, which is revered by modern Armenians, who consider themselves its descendants.
