About the title
On the way to the nursing home, Madeleine asks her taxi driver to take her past the places she remembers in Paris. Charles is a disillusioned Parisian taxi driver, buried in debt and at risk of losing his license due to numerous traffic violations. One day, after another stressful day on the road, his passenger turns out to be 92-year-old Madeleine Keller, who lives in the eastern suburbs. The elderly woman asks him to drive her to the nursing home, but first wants to visit various places in Paris.
