About the title
There is a Japanese parable about three monkeys. One of them covers its eyes with its paws, another covers its ears, and the third covers its mouth. With this gesture, the first monkey says, "I see no evil and folly." The second says, "I hear no evil and folly." The third: "I do not speak with evil and folly."
