About the series
Season One: The main characters are two detectives. In 2012, in the state of Louisiana, a serial murder case from 1995 is reopened. The detectives met 17 years earlier, when the investigation began, and have been hunting the killer together ever since. The story is told both in the present day and flashing back to the mid-1990s. Season Two: The action takes place in the Californian town of Vinci. The city manager disappears on the eve of a meeting with the mayor, at which he was supposed to present plans for building a new railway line that would improve the city's finances. His disappearance brings together a Vinci detective, a detective from the Ventura County Sheriff's Department, and a highway patrol officer.
