About the title
The story takes us far into the past — to the ancient Greek city of Troy, where a sudden and unexpected love between Paris, son of the King of Troy, and Helen, Queen of Sparta, sparked a war that nearly destroyed entire empires. Paris abducted Helen from her rightful husband. To defend the honor of Helen's husband, Agamemnon, the disgraced man's brother, decides to attack Troy. This was merely a pretext, for the Mycenaean king had long been planning to conquer Troy to secure his empire's ultimate power. But the fortress of Troy is unshakeable. Only the legendary warrior Achilles is capable of overcoming its might. The two opposing sides will clash in a deadly battle, thousands of warriors will be killed — all for the sake of love.
